Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. The biggest break for Handler occurred in 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! known as The Chelsea Handler show. The show lasted for a total of two seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO broadcast her stand-up comedy performances. She was named as host of the MTV's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. Roseanne is the only woman ever to host VMAs.
