Alaina was born the 8th November 1994, her parents being Kristy and J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina began singing when she was just three years old. The next year she was invited to take part on the Kids talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The stage was used annually until age 12, when she won the competition that allowed her to appear on the festival's big stage. In 2010, she went to Orlando, Florida to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. It was won by her who was able to beat over 1,500 kids. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina was 12 when she was the first to make one of her many journeys to Nashville. She frequented Tootsie's bar as well as several other bars along Broadway. Alaina won the title of the first winner of Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest in 2009. She composed and sang several songs, including Leaving, Set Me Free, as well.
